I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience staying at La Secreta. Communication with Eva, the owner, was stellar, even though I never met her in person. But she showed so much caring and concern for my comfort and happiness that I was truly impressed. The on-site caretakers, Marisol and Arnulfo, were also fabulous, and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable, at home and happy. The cabana itself was perfect for me. The bed and pillows were really great. I loved my little terrace and had fabulous views of the ocean in the distance and the gorgeous skies. The kitchenette had virtually everything I needed for doing my own cooking. I could walk to the nearest beach and be there in just a few minutes. The windows all have screens and there's mosquito netting over the bed, so plenty of protection against bugs. My only concern was the music from the main street down below, but once I put in ear plugs I was able to sleep just fine. Otherwise, it was quite peaceful where I was. I could not recommend this accommodation more highly!:-)
Such a hidden gem! A little oasis of tranquility in the middle of the center. Has everything you need. The view is very calming, especially during sunrise. There are multiple fans, everything is clean, and the terrace with hammock is a private luxury. I really enjoyed all the birds and squirrels in the trees around and the distant sounds of waves. I wish I could have stayed longer!
I stayed there in June, and now I'm back in November because it's a great place to stay. I highly recommend it.
Super cute place in the middle of Mazunte. Very close to all the restaurants, bars and beach. Eva, the owner, is also a lovely woman with fantastic energy. Visit La Secreta if you can

Great ambience, it was magical to sleep surrounded by nature! The location is perfect, a few minutes away from the beach and the main street of Mazunte, but far enough from noise and mess. The place has a great vibe, the kitchen is very well equipped and the room is very clean. I definitely would recommend staying at this place
My home away from home. I spend months at a time each year and will never look elsewhere. The price, location and service independence is not comparable. Marisol and Arnofo take the best care of you.
I highly recommend staying here, truly a hidden gem in the heart of Mazunte. If you’re looking for easy beach access, and a little quiet time as well, this is a great option. Our hosts we’re absolutely fantastic and so accommodating, especially with our check out process. Would love to stay here again in the future!
